After a rocky start with Mum's care. Some adjustments and us all working together. I must say the carers at Valley Care were fantastic. The manager who helped to liaise with others to give my Mum the care package needed. The girls and management went above and beyond to help.
I would recommend it to
others.

The standard of care has been exemplary. It has taken a little while for us to establish the best use of the times we have agreed to, but I think by the end of December we were really starting to see benefits.
We are currently on a pause while my wife is in hospital, but I hope that when she returns
home we will quickly be able to build on what has gone before.

Valley Care have been covering for my weekend and holiday cover and they do an excellent job, the client isn't easy to deal with but the carers take it all in their stride and are professional at all times, they cover at very short notice if something crops up and I can't get to the client, I would
and do recommend the care company to anyone who needs professional help.
Well done guys.

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

Domiciliary care is a world on its own. It never stops, constantly changes and no two days are ever the same. There are good days and bad days but even the bad days make you appreciate the job so much. Knowing that you have helped someone and supported them when they really needed you and all in the comfort of their own home is an honour. I started care at 20 and fell quite accidentally into my career but now can't see myself anywhere else. Every service user is part of my huge family of grandparents; and going above and beyond for them is something I worship. I must say I’m extremely lucky to have a job I admire and that I’m so passionate about.

Throughout my career I have worked for many companies. Always struggling to find a management that actually cares and I can connect with, until I found Valley Care Direct. Not only did I receive plenty of support but actually felt appreciated and like I fit in. It’s by far the longest I have stayed working for anyone; which is a big achievement for them as I’m pretty picky with what I want from my company. So I must say we have a long and bright looking future together with Valley Care.
