I have worked in the care industry for over for over six years. My career in health and social care was inspired by personal experiences, from helping to care for grandparents, to my partner having a stroke at a young age. These experiences ignited my passion for providing high-quality care to those in need.
With 7 years of experience in the care industry, I have worked my way up from carer to care manager. Throughout my time working in the care industry, I have completed my Level 3 in health and social care, and I am now studying my Level 5 Leadership and Management in Adult Care. These academic achievements and my experience in the care industry have enabled me to develop a solid foundation in the different aspects of the care sector. My current role as care manager provides me with the opportunity to ensure that all care delivered to our service users is to the highest standard.
Outside of my professional life, I play Ice Hockey for Leeds Roses Women’s Ice Hockey Club. I have played Ice Hockey since I was 5 years old, and it is a big part of my life outside of work.
