Donald Sibanda

Job Title: Complex Care Lead

Donald has over 20 years of experience working in the health and social care sector across different specialities, mainly in acute settings and the Emergency Department as a registered adult nurse. This equipped him with transferable essential skills in providing critical care and rapid response to medical emergencies. As our complex care leader Donald provides care management services for highly complex service users with diverse combinations of health, function, and social problems in the community.


He is responsible for ensuring safe care is delivered through working with service users, identifying their strengths and barriers while developing an individualised patient-centred plan of care. His primary focus is directed at improving health and reducing the costs of service users in the comfort of their own home.


Donald has excellent interpersonal skills and believes that everyone is entitled to live to the fullest throughout their illness with dignity, empathy and respect.

Through work, Dee developed a passion for palliative care and end-of-life care. Her expertise added to the compassionate, caring nature she holds, led her to be our palliative care champion. Dee is, able to offer advice, educate and provide emotional support to service users and their families during their most vulnerable time. Having worked in various forensic adult secure mental health units and children’s mental health services, she holds a strong passion and commitment to advocate for service users in providing patient-centred care. She has extensive clinical nursing knowledge and skills to provide for service users who live with different health conditions that include dementia, learning disabilities and sensory impairment.
