All the team at Golden Atara were most wonderful in their care for my dear father in the last few months of his life.
We felt fully supported by the carers and their management. They really went out of their way to accommodate my father's needs beyond all expectations. My mother is also disabled and
the team were also mindful of her needs and gave her support when necessary. There are inevitably sad and stressful times when a loved one is so unwell and a hug and kind words from our carers went a long way in comforting us as a family. The Golden Atara team was always punctual in their visits and carried out all duties effectually and with dignity.
We would like to say how thankful we are as a family for the wonderful care they gave my father and how their visits certainly enhanced those last few months of his life. We don’t know how we would have coped without them. A wonderful team and we will never forget them.

Thank you for your kind words. Your dad was a very wonderful man, deeply missed. The whole team at Golden Atara speak fondly of your dad with the jokes he used to make.
We wish you all the best for you, your mum and your wider family.

All carers were patient and as helpful as my mother would allow them to be, due to her Alzheimer's. It wasn't easy for them. They didn't give upon her and continued to try and find ways to encourage her to engage with them.

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.5 (9.514) out of 10 for Golden Atara Healthcare is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  • a) The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 6 Reviews in the last 24 months.

  • b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.6 out of 5 from 6 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  • a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.

    The Average Rating of 4.914 for Golden Atara Healthcare is calculated as follows: ( (32 Excellents x 5) + (3 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 35 Ratings = 4.914

  • b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').

    The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 2 points in total for each of the next 9 Positive Reviews (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.1, 7th = 0.1, 8th = 0.1, 9th = 0.1, 10th = 0.1)

The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Golden Atara Healthcare is based on 6 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.1 = 4.6

  • When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.

  • If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
