I am very happy with the quality of the care that Dad enjoys and am hugely grateful to Harrington for everything they have done so far. When he first came out of the hospital he had lost a lot of his enthusiasm for life, but the combination of his physical needs being taken nicely taken care of and
the fact that the carers take a real interest in him, providing conversation and genuine companionship, has been restorative. He isn't as mobile or as independent as he used to be but he has a good life nonetheless. In addition, I have been impressed by how well-managed the service is, there is great attention to detail and a high level of respect for both Dad as an individual and his family - we adore him and he deserves the best.

I have had the benefit of many of Harrington's carers looking after my wife who has severe dementia. They have without fail been professional, thoughtful, caring and very experienced. One thing I like in particular is their very positive attitude.

Harrington Homecare provided an excellent, personalized service and importantly provided a very high level of support during the end-of-life phase of Mum's life. Harrington Homecare dealt effectively with the GP, pharmacy, and other NHS and social services on behalf of the family, leaving us free to
enjoy our visits with Mum. Mum's carers made every effort to individualise her care and give her the best possible quality of life, including going out regularly when it was still possible, making sure Mum looked nice, that she enjoyed her meals and ate well, that she was stimulated and met different people, etc. I felt confident that all the details of Mum's care were dealt with and that she was well looked after in her own home.

We can’t thank the team at Harrington Care enough. They are incredibly kind, friendly, caring and efficient. They take such good care of our mum and dad. Nothing is too much trouble, they look out for them and contact us if they have any concerns. We’re kept up to date daily via an app. Our mum and
dad are completely comfortable with the carers coming in and supporting them and the team has put my mum and dad at ease from the beginning. They love their little chats! Thank you once again!

I was quite lost in my search for a reliable, professional care provider, for my mother who has mild dementia. Having had a rather negative experience beforehand, it was a great relief to come into contact with Harrington Homecare. From the start, I felt they really understood the issues and what was
important for us as a family. Our situation is complex, but nonetheless, they supported us every step of the way, with Mum as their priority. They always paid attention to Mum and engaged her in activities focussing on her interests. They would notice any change and notify us without delay. I felt we were in very good hands and this was an enormous benefit even for my own wellbeing. Thank you!

Harrington have been caring for my Dad since his discharge from hospital in August 2023, and we couldn’t have asked for better.
They have been utterly focused on the welfare of my Dad, providing high-quality carers who have lived in. Both the carers and the office are always responsive to Dad's needs
and are very open to listening and modifying the care as required.
I was especially impressed early on when they worked very hard to understand him and to make sure the care was as geared to him as possible. I simply can’t fault them
A really important element of their service has been to liaise with the medical professionals - GP, community nurses and so on, which has left us to get on with enjoying his company. They also take time to really listen and work through any issues sensitively to arrive at good solutions as their needs have evolved.
Really very good. They really know what they are doing and don’t cut corners.

Harrington Home have been absolutely brilliant. After my dad died they have been so helpful in looking after mum. It helps me get back some of my own life back and have time away. They are so flexible and fit in around what suits us from getting mum up and making sure she has the right medication to
putting her to bed at the end of the day. I would be truly lost without their help.

Harrington Homecare was recommended by a good friend of mine who has used them for her elderly parents. From the moment of first contact when we met the lovely team leader at the company, we have found them to be very professional, experienced and most importantly, extremely caring in my mother’s care.
My mum has mild dementia and I like that there are just 2 main carers who are wonderful, and whom my mum remembers and enjoys seeing each day.
