b) The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.7 out of 5 from 7 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.
The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:
a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.
The Average Rating of 5.000 for Arise Nursing is calculated as follows: ( (42 Excellents x 5) ) ÷ 42 Ratings = 5
b) 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5').
The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 2 points in total for each of the next 9 Positive Reviews (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.1, 7th = 0.1, 8th = 0.1, 9th = 0.1, 10th = 0.1)
The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Arise Nursing is based on 7 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 4.7
When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
If a Home Care Provider does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Job Title: Registered Manager
Embarking on my career journey 22 years ago as a domiciliary care assistant, I immersed myself in the intricate task of supporting service users in their daily activities, from shopping to leisurely walks in favourable weather. This initial experience not only marked the inception of my professional path but also served as a crucial introduction to the profound concepts of diversity and person-centred care.
Motivated by this enlightening journey, I sought to elevate my career through a comprehensive access course. Subsequently, I gained admission to the University of Suffolk, formerly known as the University Campus Suffolk, to pursue a BSc Degree in adult nursing.
Throughout my educational odyssey, I diligently honed my skills in meticulous documentation, recognizing its pivotal role in the healthcare domain. The ethos of lifelong learning became not merely a principle but a guiding force shaping my approach to nursing.
Immersing myself in a trans-formative experience at the University of Suffolk, I balanced academic rigour with hands-on learning during clinical placements. This period not only deepened my theoretical understanding but also provided invaluable real-world insights, solidifying the foundation upon which my nursing career is built. I also came to understand that every being can communicate, regardless of how frail or medically compromised.
The trajectory of my career has been enriched by meaningful encounters with compassionate colleagues who shared expertise and fueled my passion for nursing. Yet, it is the countless interactions with patients and service users that have indelibly defined the purpose and impact of my professional life.
From navigating nuanced challenges in the elderly care ward, and gaining insights into autonomy management for chronic conditions, to the dynamic environment of the vascular ward that exposed me to surgical experiences, each phase contributed to my evolving understanding of the essence of dignity in healthcare.
My journey expanded with Staff nurse roles in the emergency departments of esteemed institutions, including the Royal United Hospital Bath, The Grange University Hospital, and the University Hospital of Wales. These experiences underscored the urgency and adaptability required in emergency care, shaping my skills in a dynamic and high-pressure setting. Through these roles, I witnessed and continue to emphasize the importance of creating ongoing awareness of safeguarding in healthcare.
Beyond my professional endeavours, my passion for horses has remained steadfast, paralleled by my commitment to serving in the church of God. In addition to these aspects of my life, I embrace roles as both a devoted wife and a loving mother to my daughter.
