Lorapat care agency prioritises the physical, emotional and social needs of my disabled son. Their staff are well trained, they are friendly, cheerful and reassuring staff. They provide personalised care and support. It is very comforting to know how well young people with special needs are being looked
after. Prior to using their services, I could never trust anyone to look after my son. We initially had a trial period to start off with and my son settled very quickly. One thing I like about the agency is that they do not have a high turnover of staff so as much as possible, we tend to have the same familiar faces come in on a regular basis as my son struggles with change. I am extremely happy with the services provided so far and I highly recommend this care agency.

Hello! My name is Lorath and I’ve worked within the Health and Social Care Sector for almost 5 years.

Starting as a Support Worker; I continued to develop my knowledge and went into mental health nursing. Did level 5 leadership and management for adult care resulting in Registered Care Manager in 2023. I would say that the path to my care career was not planned, however, it’s certainly one that I would never walk back on. I’ve met some amazing and unforgettable individuals over the years. My ethos is and always will be to ensure top-quality care is being provided, nothing less. At LORAPAT CARE, we have well-trained carers and nurses who have been trained to spot the following, Trained to identify the needs of an elderly person.

They have also been trained to know when to access for feeding.

They have also been trained in fall management.

In my spare time, I enjoy exploring/hiking and travelling the UK and abroad. I’ve always been known to have my next adventure planned. I have an eye for pastries, which I might possibly pursue as a hobby one day. I’m excited to become part of the team at LORAPAT CARE and work with everyone involved.

I have a strong commitment to providing each client with the highest calibre of care possible, and I have set out to provide only the finest possible experience for clients and their families. Witnessing the good impact we can have on our clients' lives motivates us to keep improving. It is a tremendously fulfilling experience.

Growing up in a family where we, the immediate family, take care of our own grandparents and parents, social care has always been a part of my early years.

I have experience in the healthcare and medical fields, and I also have a BSc in Adult Nursing and I am currently a registered nurse with NHS.
