In Friendship Home Care is a unique home care provider committed to enriching the lives of older adults throughout Oxfordshire. Their focus is on delivering personalised, consistent, and high-quality care that prioritises the comfort and unique needs of every individual, with the aim of enabling people to continue living independently in their own homes.

Through their "Meet & Greet" service, they take the time to get to know you before care begins, ensuring a perfect match between you and your carer. A minimum visit time ensures they can provide unhurried, client-focused care, fully tailored to your specific needs. They offer a wide range of services, including personal care, medication support, companionship, carer respite, housekeeping, meal preparation, social and community interaction, driving and chaperoning, and much more.

They carefully select carers from the local community, choosing individuals not only for their experience but also for their warm, caring personalities. By assigning the same carer to each client, they foster a sense of familiarity and routine that is essential for wellbeing. They also believe in keeping families engaged and informed, which is why they offer a digital care portal that gives access to detailed care plans, assessments, visit notes, and observations.

At In Friendship, they’re more than just caregivers – they’re here to support you every step of the way on your journey to maintaining independence in the comfort of your own home.

We needed extra support for my mum last year whilst she was recovering from an operation. They provided the most wonderful care for her and really took the time to listen to her individual needs. This was such a lifesaver for myself at the time as I felt guilty that I couldn't provide full care myself
due to work commitments but mum felt so comfortable with the team that it put me at ease immediately. Thank you to you all for an amazing service and we would not hesitate to use again or recommend.

I have visits five days a week and I think the ladies are fantastic! They support me with many tasks and encourage me to get out. They have become great friends who I feel I can confide in about anything.

The team at In Friendship have provided consistent quality care for my husband for over 2 years. This has enabled him to be supported at home as his dementia has progressed. We cannot thank the management and carers enough for their invaluable support.

And we have enjoyed every minute! It has been a real pleasure supporting your husband over the last two years, creating so many special memories over the last two years, especially our trips to Blenheim. We wish him all the very best in his new home and thank you both for allowing us to be a part of his care and your family. Thank you!

Their carer from In Friendship has been providing companion support to mum and dad four times each week for over six months. She is extremely diligent and hardworking and takes her role very seriously. She treats mum and dad like family, with respect and humour, offering a listening ear. Her support
to the wider family has been invaluable and she keeps me updated on their well-being after every visit. She takes mum and dad to various appointments every month, supports them with shopping, plans an engaging range of outings or simply sits with them at home and chats over tea and cake. Thanks to their carer, I feel that I can be a son again rather than mum and dad's carer. I would recommend In Friendship to anyone without reservation.

Thank you so much for this incredibly kind and thoughtful review. I know our carer enjoys her time with your parents, she cares for them deeply and values her relationship with your family. It goes without saying that our carer sets the bar high in terms of how we support our clients. We are also grateful to you for your feedback over the last 6 months in helping us shape our services, with a keen eye on continuous improvement. Thank you again and here's to a fab 2025!

This was our first experience of seeking support for my husband who suffers from a degenerative neurological condition. We really didn't know what to expect and my husband was very anxious about allowing someone new into our home. However, from the first telephone conversation I had with In Friendship,
I was reassured that we were in safe hands. The time and attention they took to ask questions about my husband, find out about his life before getting sick, his interests and habits, meant they were able to find the right match to provide support as his PA. His carer has been absolutely amazing in making my husband feel comfortable and at ease - she has made such a difference not just to my husband's life but also to mine and the whole family's (we have two children still at home). Caring and compassionate, reliable and professional, it is not an exaggeration to say that the support from In Friendship has been life changing for all of us.

We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to support you, your husband, and your beautiful family. Our carer treasures every moment spent with you all, and particularly cherishes her time with your husband. Your initial call to us last year has blossomed into such a meaningful connection. We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, and valuable insights regarding our services - they've helped us grow as a company and provide better care.

Our experience of In Friendship Home Care has been positive from the outset.
It was a pleasure to deal with someone warm and friendly, sensitive and professional.
We developed a mutual respect and confidence and always felt heard and attended to to the best of their ability.
The contract was clear
and unambiguous and adhered to, despite staff shortages. And we were blessed with an exceptional carer who has become a valued and much loved member of our family for her unfailing and comprehensive support in every aspect of our needs - from personal care to household needs, secretarial efficiency and IT, TV, and administrative support at every level - from daily needs to accounting and banking support in an entirely professional and discreet manner.
A very young, utterly reliable and responsible carer and a remarkable human being.
A credit to her care agency and their appreciation of her qualities.
Thank you, In Friendship. A well deserved name!

Our carer is always prompt and smiling. She works hard to help my husband have fulfilling visits, taking him to local places of interest and helping him record these. Tea and cake are usually involved! We have been very pleased with the support we have received over the time we have been involved with
In Friendship, and I'm sure this will continue.

Thanks for the kind feedback. Every visit with your husband is an enjoyable one, rich with learning about the history of the local area. It's great to support someone who educates us every week, things that we can share with all of our clients. Thanks for choosing In Friendship to support you both.

The team at In Friendship are absolutely amazing to my mum. As a family living miles apart, mum was quickly becoming isolated in her home and struggling with the day-to-day tasks. It was so hard for our family to provide regular support which led us to contact In Friendship. The ladies have been great,
they work with mum to do the chores around the home, take her out food shopping so she has a choice on what she eats and always has time for a quick pit stop at the coffee shop for a drink and slice of cake. Mum's mood has improved so much and we cannot thank In Friendship enough for their help! I would highly recommend them to anyone!

The team at 'In Friendship' looked after my Mum for nearly three years, starting with occasional visits and as my Mum's dementia progressed, moving to twice daily visits, and of course trips out to help with grocery shopping and visits to Costa for hot chocolate and cake! During this time, all the
ladies were wonderful, caring, and kind and helped my Mum stay in her home, safe and happy for the maximum amount of time. The In Friendship Team were always professional taking time with my Mum to support with personal care, preparing meals and keeping Mum mentally alert through companionship, taking a genuine interest in Mum and her wellbeing. They also provided valuable updates directly back to us after each visit. I can't speak highly enough of the team and want to thank them for all their help and support.
