As a home care service user, my mother has always found the carers very kind, cheerful, and supportive. They always arrive on time and, as well as personal care, are happy to carry out other small duties and offer sensible, practical advice about a range of matters. They are a hugely reassuring presence
both to my mother and to me.

Without the care provided by the care staff at Hollins Hall, Mum would be in a very dark place. She has Alzheimer's and needs someone to give her her medication as she could easily forget to take it or overdose without help and support.
The carers provide her with reassurance and are kind and sympathetic.
They go above and beyond by making sure Mum always has something hot to eat at least once a day. Unfailingly they are patient and not phased by aggressive outbursts that can occur with Alzheimer's.
I have been impressed by the way they encourage Mum to go out and about and maintain a degree of independence.

I have recently reviewed care arrangements for my mother and this was done efficiently and swiftly by the care manager. The carers treat mum with kindness and with regard for her dignity. I am reassured that mum is safe and well cared for.

Hollins Hall was very helpful and attentive in putting together a surprise 100th birthday party for my father-in-law. The staff are always very attentive and have helped with getting the best care for my mother-in-law and father-in-law.

My mother and I were extremely pleased with the care she received in her own home. All the carers were very friendly, cheerful, professional and often went the extra mile above what was expected. They became friends rather than just carers and my mother always looked forward to their visits. We would

Hollins Hall provide a very good and reliable service. They are better than any other care services we have experienced in their time-keeping and with sending the same people each time. They are very well organised and I never need worry about whether they will turn up, even when fairly last minute
plans at our end mean that we have to ask them for extra cover or are cancelling a visit. It all works very well and Mum enjoys the company and chat of the two carers who visit her.

My father only used the carers on an ad hoc basis.
When he used the carers there were no problems, everything was handled efficiently and well.
We had no cause for concern regarding the care received.
