Fame Healthcare Services (Fame) got CQC registration in April 2024. They have a Southampton-based office but currently operate throughout Southampton, Portsmouth, Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire and Berkshire.

Fame has a well-trained and committed team that provides compassionate service user-based care that does not only support individuals to live independently in the comfort of their homes but guarantees the privacy and dignity of those individuals are maintained. At Fame, they believe their care should improve service user lives through providing practical solutions.

Care plans are written with the input of the service user, to match the needs and expectations of that service user, like game-playing and going outdoors. Depending on needs, the team can assist with medication, accompanying to appointments and visits, feeding, bathing, cooking, dressing, companionship and other household duties, among others.

Care-givers are assigned to service-users of similar interests/hobbies, to ensure rapport. To achieve targeted goals, Fame ensures that service is provided consistently by one caregiver to each service user. The time allocated for service user care, is flexible and needs dependent. Visiting time can range from as little as 1-2 hours a day and up to 24/7, including weekends and holidays. Live-in and sit-in options are also available.

In addition to providing personal home care services to anyone of 18 years and above, Fame are specialists in mental health.

Fame was selected by South England Recruitment Awards as Healthcare Recruitment Agency of the Year in 2021/22, 2022/23 and 2023/24.
