Maggie is the director and the registered manager of NPBL Healthcare trading as Safe Care. Maggie coined this organisation in November 2014 where she worked as a locum nurse in various NHS and private hospitals. Maggie developed an interest and a passion for working and supporting sick people who are physically, mentally and psychologically unwell. Maggie has 20 years’ experience in the healthcare field with vast experience in caregiving in domiciliary care commonly known as home care service; ranging from healthcare assistant to clinical support worker. She developed herself professionally and further developed as a qualified nurse where she gained BSc Honours and postgraduate in nursing. As a Registered Care Manager, Maggie has the responsibility to ensure that all staff are matched up with the most suitable Service User to support them to reach their fullest potential. Largely, Maggie prepares the rota and ensures the safety of every service user.

Mr Moyo is a retired business lecturer and a retired teacher in England. After his retirement, he decided to work in a supported living home for 3 years. Pilate has care and compassion and is very aware of how care must be continued. Pilate developed care and compassion to the extent of supporting his wife Mrs Maggie Moyo who is the director and the registered manager of NPBL Healthcare Ltd/Safe Care. Pilate has joined the organisation as the ‘administrator’. Pilate focuses on the administrative role within the homecare and health settings.

Judith has been in the care industry for 12 years. She is a holder of The NVQ level 3 of the Health and Social Care. Her experience has seen her as a caregiver in home care, in care homes, senior support worker in NHS establishments and worked as a deputy manager in a large residential care organisation. She has a growing knowledge of care and is compassionate in working with unwell individuals. Because of her vast experience and management role, Judith is supporting and grooming senior support workers to the role of care coordinator. Judith routinely oversees and monitors care workers. She takes responsibility for the service while on duty.

Before joining NPBL Healthcare/Safe Care, she had some experience in working as a caregiver in domiciliary care, and as a clinical support worker in nursing homes and NHS establishments. She supports service users and their families to meet the challenges of ageing with dignity, pride, care and compassion. Susan has a primary responsibility in NPBL Healthcare/Safe Café reflecting on the core values of the homecare as a senior care support worker. Susan is a holder of NVQ level 2 and has completed a care certificate in care.

Shelton has been working in the automotive industry before he joined the care industry, He has 3 years of experience in working with younger adults in a supported living home and in Day Centres. Shelton enjoys interacting and engaging with service users, encouraging them to engage in activities of their choice. He gives strong companionship towards service users’ recovery journeys. Shelton is a holder of a Care Certificate, mandatory training required for the support of care.

Primrose is a junior care support worker who participates in a variety of responsibilities aimed at providing support and assistance to individuals in their own homes, particularly the elderly or those with disabilities. She has 2 years’ experience as a caregiver in mainly home care and nursing homes. Primrose is a holder of the basic qualification in a Care Certificate offered by NPBL Healthcare and has the responsibility to attend other mandatory training to help with caregiving, closely attends to personal care in assisting with hygiene, in helping service users with daily personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, showering; and grooming and dressing.

Justice was a motor mechanic; he developed a care job during his spare time. Justice is more interested in caregiving. Has been working as a full-time community support and has recently been recruited by NPBL Healthcare/Safe Care. He is now confident to work independently and has an interest in applying for a senior support worker. After gaining some experience, Justice decided to specialise in care and support work for younger adults aged 23 with physical disabilities. He states that he loves the caring job despite the challenging times at times. He has completed a care Certificate with 15 standards.

Vuyo is new and 1 year in the care industry. She joined her husband who came to England as an IT engineer. Vuyo is a passionate young lady who enjoys supporting people in their own homes. Vuyo speaks about the same care she rendered to her paternal grandmother back at home. Vuyo has been put on a care Certificate course to develop the basic skills in health and social care. This has a set of 15 standards that cover essential knowledge and skills for providing safe and companionate care. NPBL Healthcare is planning to enhance Vuyo with other qualifications such as a level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.

Shaun is a first-year Law student at one of the local universities. He has picked home care, and he is interested in the care of the elderly. He is working with senior support workers whom he shadows and is being supported to carry out duties as duty demands. NPBL Healthcare has a contract for students and part-time who have a passion for sick people. Shaun enjoys working with people of old age and empathises with them like his grandparents.
