SureCare Southport is led by Onyeka Offor.

In recognising the tremendous need for social care and support services, Onyeka launched SureCare Southport to help people in the local community. His passion for supporting vulnerable individuals was a key deciding factor when it came to opening a SureCare branch and providing essential home care services to those who need them most.

Onyeka previously worked as a Fire Engineer, assessing risks and hazards to ensure the safety of buildings that could be impacted by fire. In addition to this, he has also worked in a number of healthcare settings to support people requiring assistance in their daily lives. With this background, Onyeka has developed skills including an awareness of the safety of various environments and careful consideration of people’s needs.

Onyeka believes that one of the greatest values a person can have is to show care and compassion for others. In his operation of SureCare Southport, he aims to cultivate strong relationships with staff members and clients alike. He feels there is a lot of potential for our services to grow and make a real impact in people’s lives, thanks to our team of professionally trained care workers.

Darren has a sound understanding of management and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience. He has worked in care since 1989 and has carried out various roles in his career, including Deputy Manager from 1996 and Registered Manager from 2006. In his previous roles, he has gained experience in producing and overseeing rotas for large teams, alongside managing supervision and appraisal processes.

As the Registered Manager at SureCare Southport, Darren strives to lead by example for our team of dedicated care workers. He’ll utilise his strong knowledge base and keen focus on maintaining quality standards in a multi-disciplinary environment that deals with staff, service users and external bodies like the local authority and CQC.
