The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:
a) 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months.
The Average Rating of 4.667 for Kingsley Home Care - North Norfolk is calculated as follows: ( (20 Excellents x 5) + (10 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 30 Ratings = 4.667

The 5 points available are broken down as follows: 3 points for the first Positive Review, 2 points in total for each of the next 9 Positive Reviews (1st = 3, 2nd = 0.5, 3rd = 0.5, 4th = 0.25, 5th = 0.25, 6th = 0.1, 7th = 0.1, 8th = 0.1, 9th = 0.1, 10th = 0.1)
The 5 points relating to the number of Positive Reviews for Kingsley Home Care - North Norfolk is based on 5 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as follows: 3 + 0.5 + 0.5 + 0.25 + 0.25 = 4.5

How long have you been in the care industry, and what led you to join Kingsley HomeCare?
I started my care journey 42 years ago. Trained as an EN(M) qualifying at the age of 20 and I was one of the youngest enrolled nurses working in an acute psychiatric hospital. I specialised and worked with advanced dementia before moving into the addiction unit. I then went on to complete my conversion course and qualified as an RGN specialising in the bleed unit. I then burnt out with the NHS and moved into Social care working as a deputy manager and then a home’s manager in a nursing home 25 years ago. I have worked with charities, social housing and finally Kingsley Healthcare. Started as a registered manager at Colne House before progressing to a Peripatetic Manager supporting homes without a manager and ensuring they were CQC-ready. Moved on to Operations manager before being offered the Regional Operations Director in 2019.
A short break from work in early 2024 before returning to the current role.
What do you find most rewarding about working in-home care?
Supporting people to live as independently as they can in their own homes. When this is no longer possible being able to support and offer live-in care or moving into one of our homes

My vision is to see Kingsley Homecare grow in not only the three areas that we currently cover but nationwide. I want us to be the provider of choice.
What are your hobbies and passions outside of Kingsley?
I enjoy good food and wine, visiting the gym, walking my dog along the beautiful Lowestoft coastline, upcycling old furniture and knitting in front of my fire on the cold winter nights.
