Quality training

All staff receive regular training and updates, and are actively encouraged to enhance their careers through Continual Professional Development. This starts with an approved induction course covering issues such as mandatory training, health and safety, customer care, diversity issues, revalidation, and personal hygiene. Those who want to develop their skills further are actively supported to take advanced social care and healthcare qualifications.
Specific CPD programmes are offered that allow Nurses and HCAs to develop their careers. This allows Nurses to go through revalidation with the appropriate CPD hours, as well as enhancing the skill sets of HCAs. They also actively encourage engagement in professional networks and discussions and can help to reduce professional isolation.
