I bring 37 years’ experience within health and social care and within that time I have had differing roles giving me first-hand experience what most members of staff deal on a daily basis. I have also been a next of kin for my grand father that gives me an indication of the the emotions and difficulties a next of kin can feel or go through

I have a deep passion for the people receiving our care. I believe and instil in the care givers a high standard of care that is to be delivered on every single care visit and beyond

I am a big believer in the care giver being the foundations of any company – you need to ensure that any foundation is solid, or else everything or everyone will fall, if not. To have a great foundation the care givers need to be trained well, supported always and respected – the care giver is the most significant person. If the care giver is believed in, supported and well trained they will deliver the best care to the highest standard to the clients we care for.

Over my career learnt from some amazing people who have taught me some very high standards, and I am so pleased to find a company with the same ethos as myself. I am now looking forward to exciting times ahead working with the best team within the health and social care sector and work together to improve, enhance their quality of life for our clients and their loved ones

An abroad trained nurse who has worked in the NHS for over 15 years and a former ward sister on a 27 bedded trauma and orthopaedic ward, I have first-hand experience in the care of the elderly and the disabled. During my nursing career I have seen the struggle patients face when they are ready to leave the hospital but find it challenging to adapt back home due to the lack of care services in the community.

I am very passionate, caring and trustworthy. I care for my client’s/patients with much compassion and it has always weighed on my mind what I could do to support the elderly and the disabled in the community. When my cousin suggested starting my own in-home care service during a conversation it dawn on me this is the opportunity, I have been looking forward to giving something back to the community. At Visiting Angels, I have found a platform where I can leverage my expertise to make a tangible difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

I have always had my” ETHOs” to care for my patients/ clients as I would for my own family members. With the guiding principles of trust, accountability and dedication the team at Visiting Angels Central Hampshire are going to be with our clients and their families every step of their journey.

With Visiting Angels carer-centric approach combined with my” MUMs” care I aim to create an environment where our carers can care more, clients can live better in their own home environment and families can feel assured their loved ones are in good hands.

“As someone who have dedicated my life to caring for good half of my years, I understand the focus on carers’ needs and concerns, and it is incredibly important to me, I want to give my carers the recognition they deserve, support and empower them to achieve their highest potential, for the essential role they play in our community.
