As the Registered Manager, you'll spearhead the effective management
of our services, specialising in meeting the unique needs of
individual young people.
Are you the right person for the job?
- Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Children and
Young People or in Care Management
- Full UK Driving Licence + own vehicle
- A minimum of two years recent experience in managerial role in a
similar setting and having a hands on approach to managing
- Proficiency in working with young people with Emotional and
Behavioural Difficulties and a strong grasp of therapeutic strategies
- Sound knowledge of relevant Looked After Children (LAC) procedures
- Proven track record in safeguarding children and young people
- Proven track record in supervising and developing staff
- Experience in building positive relationships local authorities
and external social/health care services
- Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities
- Positive and empowering attitude towards children and young people
in attaining their pathway plan
- Commitment to the values of Compassion, Integrity and Respect
- Honest, trustworthy, reliable and able to work under pressure
- Physically and mentally capable of fulfilling the role
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring check
What will your role look like?
In this role, you will manage all aspects of the day-to-day running
of the home, including:
- Planning and delivering quality support to young people
- Establishing and maintaining effective partnerships with internal
and external stakeholders
- Developing and managing an efficient team of staff
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
- Managing resources effectively and reporting concerns as needed
- Implementing and managing administrative systems as required
