As the Registered Manager, you'll spearhead the effective management of our services, specialising in meeting the unique needs of individual young people.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Children and Young People or in Care Management
  • Full UK Driving Licence + own vehicle
  • A minimum of two years recent experience in managerial role in a similar setting and having a hands on approach to managing
  • Proficiency in working with young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties and a strong grasp of therapeutic strategies
  • Sound knowledge of relevant Looked After Children (LAC) procedures
  • Proven track record in safeguarding children and young people
  • Proven track record in supervising and developing staff
  • Experience in building positive relationships local authorities and external social/health care services
  • Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities
  • Positive and empowering attitude towards children and young people in attaining their pathway plan
  • Commitment to the values of Compassion, Integrity and Respect
  • Honest, trustworthy, reliable and able to work under pressure
  • Physically and mentally capable of fulfilling the role
  • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring check

What will your role look like?

In this role, you will manage all aspects of the day-to-day running of the home, including:

  • Planning and delivering quality support to young people
  • Establishing and maintaining effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Developing and managing an efficient team of staff
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
  • Managing resources effectively and reporting concerns as needed
  • Implementing and managing administrative systems as required
