Carer

We are looking for Carers to fill our vacant positions. Our Carers care role is challenging and rewarding for the right person. Our Service Users are aged 18 to 65 and above. They have a range of care needs from simple companionship to assistance with personal care and medication.

As a Carer working for You & I Care, you will share our core values of kindness and compassion. We understand that each Carer offers more than the service alone and that relationships between Carers and Service Users should be preserved over time.

As a Carer, you will be performing the following:-

• Offering companionship
• Personal care
• Domestic housework
• Helping with meal preparation
• Support with medication

We require the following skills and attributes for Carers:

• Empathy
• Positive attitude
• Great communication skills
• A certificate in care would be useful, but not necessary.

We will accept experienced and entry-level Carers if they show a genuine passion for caring. What is essential is your brilliant positive energy and the natural ability to get along with people, be truly compassionate and considerate.
