One Day At A Time Home Care is a family-run, domicilary care company based in Woodley (RG5 3LE). We aim to work in partnership with service users, their family and/or friends to provide care of the highest quality, promoting independence within the framework of the essential values of daily living. One Day At A Time Home Care believes in placing local staff in local employment and is able to provide experienced care and support staff to look after every need, in the comfort of a person's own home.
The main duties and responsibilities of a Care Assistant:
The main duties and responsibilities of a Care Assistant is to ensure the needs of our clients are met, including: providing personal care, such as showering, shaving, oral hygiene and dressing, administering medication, monitoring health and wellbeing, maintaining records and reporting any changes, assisting with meal preparation and helping with general household jobs, and always providing person-centred care to uphold hightest quality standards.
