You will be providing quality care services to elderly and less able individuals in their own home as an alternative to a residential care home. You will offer assistance with personal care, meal preparation and domestic tasks as well as ensuring they have emotional support and companionship.

Previous experience as a Care Assistant is not necessaryas we have an extensive colleague training & development programme, although you must:

  • Be kind, compassionate, enjoy helping others and have a positive, can-do attitude that reflects our organisation's values
  • Be committed to working alternate weekends
  • Have availability and be flexible to work various shifts including evenings, usual shift patterns include 6am till 2pm and 2pm till 10pm.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Level 2 or 3 in Health and social care is desirable but not essential
  • Must be willing to work towards care certificate qualification
  • Must have a full driving licence
  • Must have use of own car
  • must have a DBS completed or be on the update service
  • Caring and friendly
  • Have good communication skills
  • Have good understanding skills
