Full & Part-Time Care Assistant

Full & Part-Time Care Assistant, No experience needed – Award winning training provided – Car drivers essential.

We are looking for naturally caring, compassionate people to join our team.  With a minimum of 1-hour visits and regular clients you will build trusting relationships, helping to combat loneliness for the older adults in your community. We welcome applications from all age groups and from any previous occupations, and provide you with full training and support along the way.

Could you help Mavis

Mavis had a stroke in 2019 and that’s when she was diagnosed with early stages of Dementia. It has made the things she loves doing difficult, and sometimes she cannot quite say the words she’s looking for. She also had a fall earlier in the year and she’s not as steady on her feet as she once was. We have made such a difference to Mavis, we enable her to remain at home in the place she loves, and she feels like part of our family. She no longer feels lonely as we spend a minimum of an hour with her on each of her 2-3 visits per day, this means we have the time to deliver the care and companionship she deserves.

Key Information:

·  £12.50 - £14.00 per hour.

·  Double time on bank holidays.

·  Paid mileage 40p-45p per mile.

·  Hours to suit consistent availability across the week (inc. alternate weekends)

Matching You

You will be carefully matched and introduced to the clients you support. Your visits will never be rushed, meaning you spend quality time with the person we match you with. As a Home Instead Care Assistant no two days are the same, as each of our clients are unique and they all require different levels of care and/or support. Please be aware that most clients require visits Monday to Friday and possibly weekends, so the availability you offer should be consistent across the week to accommodate the client we match you with.
