Job Summary:

Home Instead Welwyn & Hatfield is looking for a skilled and compassionate Care Professional to provide high-quality care to our clients. As a Care Professional, you will work closely with individuals in their homes to help them with their daily living activities, including personal care, housekeeping, and companionship. You will also work closely with the office team to ensure that their loved ones receive the best possible care.

Care Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care services to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Assist clients with mobility, such as transferring
  • Assist clients with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing
  • Provide companionship and socialisation to clients
  • Maintain accurate records of client care and progress
  • Communicate regularly with management to ensure that clients' needs are being met
  • Provide transportation for clients to appointments and outings as needed
  • Administer medication as directed in the clients care plan
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on best practices in home care

Care Assistant Requirements:

  • Ability to assist and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect
  • Willing to seek guidance when needed and able to follow instructions
  • Excellent timekeeper who is organised and reliable
  • A full UK driving license with a vehicle to use visiting clients
