Support Assistant

Home Care Preferred provides care and support into client’s homes. We are looking for people to join our compassionate team of caregivers. We believe in enhancing the opportunity to receive excellent quality care and provide support to adults above the age of 18 within our community. Home Care Preferred provides tailor-made services to meet the needs of each of our clients.

The ideal applicants will be of a caring nature, highly motivated, passionate and committed to providing quality care. We are seeking reliable and honest individuals who have the ability to treat others with dignity and respect.

We are currently looking to recruit caregivers who are available from 07.00 to 14.00 and 18.00 to 21.00. If you are available during these times we would love to hear from you.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Engage in companionship
• Arrange appointments
• Escort service to healthcare and social appointments
• Light housekeeping tasks
• Meal preparation
• Medication support
• Encourage and support with personal care including incontinence issues in a way that is respectful and promotes individual needs and rights.
• Complete client reports

The following attributes are essential:

• Be eligible to work in the UK
• Live in or very close to Barnet in North London
• Have experience in care either within a professional or personal basis
• Have good spoken and understanding of the English language
