Within the role of the Care Coordinator, you are required to manage the organisation and delivery of care. You will manage a team of care assistants to support our service users in their own homes to provide person-centred care. This role is more than just rota management. You will be a part of our operational team, which ensures that we provide outstanding quality care delivered consistently to our service users.

The role:

- Rostering and management of service user rotas.

- Working with multi-disciplinary teams and professional bodies to ensure outstanding care is delivered and to positively promote our services.

- Complete quality calls with care staff and service users.

- Provide information and feedback to the necessary partners

- Provide support to our teams as part of a rostered-on call system.

- Manage referrals from commissioners and local authority.

- Ensure rotas are geographical and time efficient.

Person Specification:

- We are looking for someone who is vibrant, self-motivated and passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable people.

- Drive and Resilience.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, you’ll be comfortable on the phone as you are writing emails.

- Experience working in a faced paced environment and flexible.

- Strong attention to detail and being a completer/finisher.

- A team player with strong interpersonal skills.

- Able to commute to and from our main office in St Albans

Desirable Experience:

- Experienced Co-ordinator / scheduler doing coordination and rota management.

- Holding a full driving license and access to your own vehicle
