Care Assistant

Compassion Homecare provides care to elderly people living at home, in Orpington and its surrounding areas.

We are currently recruiting for full time and part time Care Assistants with flexible hours available.

As a Care Assistant you would have a great opportunity to make a real difference to peoples' lives in supporting them to live independently in the comfort of their own homes.

The key skills that we are looking for is that you have a compassionate, kind and caring nature. Although previous experience would be preferred it is not essential as full training is given.

We are a family run service, led by Eniko who is a Registered Nurse. We receive excellent feedback from our clients with 100% recommending us.

In your role as a carer you'll support people with all aspects of their day-to-day living, including their social and healthcare needs.

As a carer you will help the elderly with:

• Assisting them to get ready for the day
• Bathing, washing and showering
• Assisting with medication
• Monitoring clients' conditions
• Meal preparation
• Getting ready for bed
• Social and leisure outings
• Ironing and light housework
• Shopping.
