Weekend Care Assistant

We are a friendly family company who deliver excellent care (we're a "Top 20 in the South West winner on this site once again) and we look after our care staff.

If you have a caring nature and love people this may be the job for you. Have you cared for a family member and would now like to work in the care industry? Does your current role not offer the fulfilment you'd like?

Working as a community care assistant has many different sides and no two days are the same. You need to be an organiser, work well independently, be able to act on your own initiative and able to deal effectively with people.

Daily it can make you laugh with joy, cry with sadness, feel proud to have helped, exasperated and frustrated, joyful, nostalgic, surprised but most of all satisfied to have dealt with any situation and most importantly that you've made the difference to someone's day as you may be the only person they see.

The duties include everything from social interaction, domestic help, medication, full personal and continence care and everything in between and finally end-of life care.

 No experience necessary, other than a caring heart
