Your Role and Responsibilities:

You will assist people with learning disabilities, dementia, sensory impairments, and autistic spectrum disorders with:

Personal care including washing and dressing, showering, toileting and continence care, changing pads.

Meeting nutritional needs including serving meals to clients, assistance with feeding/eating.

Medication-assisting residents to take prescribed medicines

Offering companionship

Promoting choice and independence

. Assist clients with light domestic cleaning

Most importantly, applicants must have:

Genuine passion and compassion to help others

Willingness to learn and undertake mandatory trainings

A positive attitude to work and able to work in a team

Ability to use own initiative in given circumstances
