Live-in Carer

Here at Right at Home Havant & Petersfield, we are looking to grow our team of Live-In Carers.

We have several opportunities for experienced Live-in Carers in and around the Emsworth and Havant area on the south coast.

Our clients are looking for experienced Live-in Carers who speak fluent English, who enjoy rustling up a healthy meal and who will support them to stay living in their own homes, making a real difference in their lives. Car drivers would be preferable, but this is not essential. We provide ongoing training and weekly support calls.

Emsworth is a lovely nautical town, close to the seafront with a selection of cafes, coffee shops, and locally produced products. The train station is a 10/15-minute walk away which gives you easy access to larger towns and attractions.

Havant is a vibrant town, with a large selection of shops and a weekly market - perfect for a gentle stroll with your client or during your break.

• On-going support and professional training
• Minimum Payment a day plus holiday pay (based on an 8 hour day)

What does being a Live In Carer Involve?

• Helping clients with their every day tasks
• Assisting with Personal care
• Offering companionship on a one-to-one basis
• Managing different medical conditions like dementia
• Household duties, cooking, cleaning and general running of their home

Live In Carer Requirements:

•  At Least one year's experience in care work.
• Strong English and the Right to work In the UK
• DBS on update system / or willing to apply for new DBS
• Basic cooking skills
• Patient and caring nature
• Minimum of 2 weeks in placement.
