Title: Domiciliary Care Coordinator/Administrator

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Domiciliary Care Coordinator/Administrator. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in coordinating and overseeing the delivery of high-quality care services to our clients in their own homes.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate Care Services: Schedule and coordinate care services according to clients' needs, ensuring that appropriate team members are assigned to provide care.

2. Client Assessment: Conduct assessments to determine clients' care requirements and develop customized care plans that address their specific needs.

3. Communication: Maintain open and effective communication channels with clients, their families, healthcare professionals, and other members of the care team to ensure seamless coordination of care.

4. Staff Supervision and Support: Provide supervision, support, and guidance to care staff while promoting a positive and respectful working environment.

5. Documentation and Reporting: Accurately maintain client records, including care plans, service schedules, and documentation of all client interactions and observations.

6. Training and Development: Support the professional growth and development of care staff through training programs, coaching sessions, and performance evaluations.

7. Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of care services provided, proactively identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.

8. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements and standards, maintaining necessary documentation and records.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience in a similar role within domiciliary care or healthcare administration.

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, families, and care staff.

3. Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on delivering efficient and effective care services.

4. Knowledge of current healthcare regulations and best practices within domiciliary care.

5. Proficiency in using computer software and systems for scheduling, documentation, and reporting.

6. Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine passion for improving the lives of others.

7. Ability to work independently, make decisions, and handle challenging situations in a calm and professional manner.

8. Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations pertaining to domiciliary care.
