Carer/support worker

Sierra Homecare are a small family run, independent provider of high quality care and support services to older people in the comfort of their own homes in the Bishop's Stortford and Stansted areas. Most of our appointments are one hour and our main focus is to provide high quality personal centred care to our clients. our appointments are not rushed and there is sufficient time for a chat and to have a cup of tea, which we feel is often as important as providing the essential care that clients may need. Aside from personal care, assisting with medication, meal preparation, we may on occasions take clients to an appointments or out for a coffee. We provide companionship care to clients. We also offer a sleep in service on occasions to our clients (not compulsary for staff).

Our early shift starts at 8.00 AM and our late shift finishes at 8.00 PM -BUT WE CAN OFFER FLEXIBLE PATTERNS. ( i.e. you can work a 3 hour shift up to 8 hours).

Our staff are well supported by management. WE HAVE A VERY HAPPY TEAM.

our pay rates are as follows:

£11.50 ph weekdays

£13.50-£14.00 ph weekends

£16.00 ph weekend overtime rate

DOUBLE TIME ON BANK HOLIDAYS

28 days holiday

pension scheme

45p per mile mileage.
