Bluebird Care Leicester are looking to recruit a full-time Care Coordinator to join our growing home care service. Ideally with experience in a similar role with at least 2 years care experience, and the enthusiasm to build care hours.
Duties will include preparation of rotas on a weekly basis, taking on new packages of care, liaising with commissioners, social workers, families, and other health care professionals.
Knowledge of rostering systems or care management systems to allocate and change customer visits is also required as well as good IT skills.
The ideal candidate will be based at our Hinckley Road office and required to work between 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
The role will also include taking turns to be on-call for which there will be extra pay and days off in lieu. This may include working outside of normal working hours and some weekend working
You must be a driver with a car and be prepared to cover calls where no staff are available.
Ideally you will have a minimum of a NVQ/QCF level 2 in Care and be willing to work towards a level 3.
This position will require a full enhanced DBS check or an enhanced DBS on the update service. A fully checkable work history and references are required.
