We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our team in Lincoln. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide dedicated care and support to our clinets with complex medical needs in their own homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming for children
  • Assisting with medication administration and monitoring health conditions
  • Implementing and following individual care plans
  • Supporting children with mobility and daily activities
  • Assisting with feeding and ensuring adequate nutrition
  • Monitoring and recording observations on the child's condition
  • Liaising with parents and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
  • Engaging children in play activities to promote their development and well-being

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Complex Care Assistant or in a similar role in a paediatric setting is essential
  • Knowledge and experience in caring for children with complex medical needs
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and provide specialized care
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature towards children and their families
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
  • A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation are desirable
