As a professional Home Care Support Worker you will have a hugely rewarding role making a genuine difference to someone's life.

We are seeking individuals based in and around Sowerby Bridge, Brighouse, Elland, Birkby, Bradley and surrounding areas with a caring nature who are reliable and committed to making a difference and would like to be part of a supportive team. We are looking for experienced carers and we do provide full training and ongoing support.

We are initially looking for carers to support an elderly gentleman for one hour calls mornings and evenings every day, Monday to Sunday. There is scope for more hours around these calls with other clients.

You will need to have a valid drivers licence, access to your own vehicle with business insurance and be able to travel around Huddersfield and surrounding areas for this role.

Our Home care assistants earn from £11.60 p/h to £15 p/h. We ensure working hours are matched to your availability.

The responsibilities of this role are:

  • To provide outstanding care and support to our clients in their own homes
  • Provide companionship and personal care
  • Basic help in the home, shopping and meal preparation support
  • Deliver specialist care based on training received such as dementia care or medication administration

Requirements

  • Committed, caring and compassionate with a clear desire to support others
  • Enthusiastic and positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • A valid driving licence and your own car
  • Ability to work alternate weekends
  • Previous experience of a role within care preferable
