At Mercury Care, we are committed to delivering high-quality care that transforms lives. We are looking for a dedicated Care Coordinator to help us provide continuity of care for our clients, ensuring they receive the support they need when they need it.

Please note this role is open to UK residents only, and we are unable to provide visa sponsorship. The successful applicant will hold a full drivers license.

About the Role:

As a Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients and managing the delivery of care. Working closely with the Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Allocating care workers with the right skills to provide the best quality care.
  • Organising care worker rotas to reduce disruptions to service and travel times.
  • Responding efficiently to changes in care packages and client needs.
  • Acting as a key point of contact between service users and care workers, ensuring smooth communication and addressing queries promptly.
  • Ensuring consistency and continuity of care by maintaining strong relationships with care workers and managing schedules.
  • Taking responsibility for on-call duties when required, including weekends or evenings.

You will ensure that our clients receive the highest standard of care in a timely and efficient manner, while working in a supportive, team-focused environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Car owner/driver, with the ability to respond quickly and effectively to service users’ needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deal sensitively with queries from service users.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills to manage staff rotas and ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge and understanding of home care legislation and regulations.
  • Ability to handle pressure and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment.
