Home Care Worker

Papillon Home Care is committed to providing the best in care to our clients, whilst allowing them to remain within their own homes for as long as they desire. We are currently recruiting for Home Care staff in the Romney Marsh area.

We offer day, evening and weekend call times, flexibility is key and some weekend work is essential in this role.

Your role within this framework is vital, and as a valued member of our team, you will be delivering person-centred care to achieve the best possible outcome.

UK based applicants with full driving licence is essential, we can not take non drivers for this role

As a home care worker, you may be required to provide the following services:

• Respite care
• Administering of medication
• Sit in calls
• Domestic/ironing duties
• Rehabilitation
• Sleep in and wake night calls
• Companionship

The level of care, duty and responsibility will vary depending on the individual needs of the care recipient. However, the ideal candidate will be able to:

• Ensure independence whenever possible
• Deliver dignified and sensitive care at all times
• Maintain and complete daily logs to ensure continuity of care and confidentiality at all times
• Assist those with limited mobility, making good use of mobility aids
