Responsibilities:

  • Assisting individuals with their daily activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming.
  • Providing companionship and emotional support to individuals.
  • Assisting with meal planning and preparation, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
  • Administering medication as prescribed and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assisting with mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
  • Monitoring individuals' health and reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate staff.
  • Participating in recreational activities and social events to promote engagement and well-being.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment for individuals, including light housekeeping duties.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar care role is preferred but not essential. We provide comprehensive training and support to all staff members.
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people's lives.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with individuals, their families, and other team members.
  • Reliable and dependable, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on the needs of the individuals in care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, following care plans and instructions.
