Domiciliary Care Assistant

You will be expected to support people to live in their own homes as independently as possible. Supporting them with everyday living aspects such as:

• Looking after their personal care
• Looking after their health, including medication management where necessary
• Keeping themselves safe within their home

You may support individuals who have learning disabilities, physical disabilities or mental health as well as being elderly. You will be expected to work in a way that helps promote the individual's independence and empower them to be as independent as possible. You will follow a specific care plan for each individual which will demonstrate the needs of the individual and how they want to live their lives.

To support individuals in their own homes/supported living homes with a range of needs.
