We have great career opportunities for both full-time and part-time Care Assistants to join our friendly, caring and growing teams across South Lanarkshire.
We visit the homes of elderly, disabled and other vulnerable adults to provide a range of care services which enable them to remain living independently in their own home as an alternative to residential care.
Our Registered Manager has over 30 years’ experience working in care and she is assisted by a team of Supervisor’s and a Coordinator that make Bluebird care run smoothly.
Our Care Assistants are expected to travel between home visits, therefore, it is essential that you must have a Full Driving Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
Our Care Assistants benefit from:
· Average visit times of 1 hour (minimum 30 mins)
· Mileage paid
· Flexible Hours
· Lead Carer Opportunities
· Carer of the Month Awards
· Paid assistance with SVQ Qualifications
· Pension
· Holiday Pay
· Training
No experience necessary as we provide full training and ongoing support to ensure that you hold the competence to fulfil your responsibilities as a Care Assistant. We also warmly welcome applications from those with previous Carer or Support Worker experience.
Care Assistant responsibilities include providing support with personal care, medication administration, domestic tasks, meal preparation, shopping, running errands and importantly providing social support or companionship.
