Job Description
We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team in the wider Canterbury/Faversham, Kent area as a CAREGiver. As a CAREGiver, you will provide a variety of non-medical services to help them keep independent in their own home.
You do not need any experience or particular qualifications to become a CAREGiver. However, it would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. This could be a personal experience of caring for a family member or a voluntary experience. You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful. You will enjoy building professional friendships and be comfortable in spending time in the company of others.

We provide Companionship Care, Home Care, Dementia Care and Personal Care. Sometimes one or the other, sometimes a mix, and all are on differing scales. Personal Care for those unfamiliar could be as simple as helping with medicines or holding out a steadying hand and Dementia Care as is Personal Care is, a wide-ranging area depending on the client's needs. It could be helping with memories or it may be more advanced in which case we provide more in-depth training to further our CAREGiver's understanding and therefore provide a deeper level of support to our clients.
Hours are Part-Time potentially Full-Time and are negotiable. Average is approx 15-20 hours per week but can be as little or as much as required and available.
