We provide support to our clients in their own homes and provide services such as companionship, taking clients out and about, medication support, to personal and dementia care. The nature of care we expect you to provide is similar to what you would expect to be provided to your own family and loved ones.

Main Responsibilities:
. Undertake scheduled spot checks and supervised visits on carers work and feedback effectively to support the training and development of team members
. Undertake client visits & reviews in line with the company’s policies & procedures to facilitate a professional & personal care service which meets the client’s needs
. Undertake moving & handling & risk assessments in line with the latest guidance & company policies to ensure clients' safety & wellbeing & the safety of care staff
. Supervise and instruct staff members in all aspects of their work, giving help and guidance where appropriate and assisting the manager to keep records up to date
. Provide care services to clients to cover absence and sickness
. Conduct client assessments & reviews & produce client care plans
. Conduct staff supervision & appraisal meetings & manage issues
. Recruit, support & train carers to enable them to undertake their role safely & effectively
. At all times, work to the company's core values, policies and standards at all times
. Work with the care team to ensure the best outcomes for clients at all times
. To respect and protect all confidential and commercially sensitive information
. Practice maximum integrity in all dealings with clients' personal & financial affairs
. Understand and implement the requirements of the company’s adult protection policies, including the suspension of staff from duties. Understand and implement the company’s emergency situation procedures
. Participate in the on call rota to provide support to carers and clients at times when the office is closed

Supervision:
· Undertake scheduled spot checks and supervised visits on carers when requested by the manager and feedback effectively to support the training and development of team members
· Undertake ongoing competency checks on team members
· Provide mentorship to new team members during an induction
· Undertake supervised visits with staff members to facilitate the development of professional skills and support the development and training of the staff care team
· Work with the Care Managers and staff team to ensure the best outcomes for clients at all times & set high personal standards of care to instil good practice into new members of the care team
