Job Summary
Date posted: 3 March 2025Your live-in carer duties may include but are not limited to:
- Providing companionship and company
- Supporting clients with personal care
- Administering Medication
- Light housework
- Shopping
- Preparing healthy meals
- Accompanying clients to appointments and social outings
- Supporting clients to pursue their hobbies, interests and, social activities
- Offering specialised care for people with Dementia, Parkinson’s, Stroke, and other conditions
- Typically 2-4 week assignments
- Dual contracts available in the East Devon area to support our daily clients as well
Skills / Qualifications:
- 2 years minimum of experience working in Care is desirable but not essential as full training is provided
- NVQ/QCF Health and Social Care - Level 2 or 3 is desirable
- Excellent written and conversational English
- Entitlement to work in the UK
- Patience
- common sense and a good sense of humour
- A friendly and caring attitude
- An understanding of the importance of confidentiality
