We are currently recruiting experienced Health Carers  to work  various shifts within Residential/Nursing Homes and Learning Disability Units, Home care  in the following areas:-

Wing, Aylesbury, High Wycombe, Chesham, Holme Green Buckinghamshire, Luton, Bedford,  London, Midlands

Job Duties/Requirements:

  • Helping Service Users meet both their health and social care needs. This includes assisting with personal hygiene, assistance with laundry and preparing meals and drinks.
  • Assist in enabling the client group to maintain and develop daily living skills such as
  • Assisting the service user group with activities such as arts, crafts & sports and encouraging them to participate in out and indoor activities
  • Encourage resident to participate in indoor and outdoor activities and to achieve independence in all areas of their life
  • Good understanding of principles of care:- Involving residents to identify and choose their support needs, respecting their wishes, dignity and respect to their individuality, values and cultural needs
  • Good knowledge safeguarding principles
  • Understand equal opportunities and supports the equality and diversity of the individual.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels both oral and written
  • Willingness to participate in relevant development training programmes
  • Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
  • Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures.
  • Protects organisation's value by keeping patient information confidential
  • Proactive and forward thinking.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • 6 month experience working within care setting (training and induction would be given to support staff)
