Job Description

As a Care Assistant with Home Instead Romford, you will assist residents in Romford and surrounding areas with a variety of care and activities within the comfort of their own homes. The role can be inspiring and very rewarding.

Your daily tasks may include supporting clients with aspects of their personal care such as bathing, dressing and grooming; assistance with medication; grocery shopping and meal preparation; light-housekeeping and so on. Along with this, we pride our care on the companionship we provide as part of every visit to our clients. Therefore, you will have time to engage in social interaction with your clients and build relationships - activities could involve doing arts and crafts, puzzles, enjoying cups of tea and chats, only to name a few. 

Each client's needs and wishes are different and you will be carefully matched to those with whom you can make a difference. Therefore, you do not need to have experience, however you must have empathy, compassion, and commitment. For many clients, you may be the only person they see all day - you will be their care friend and hero!
