At Home Instead we are known for the award-winning, high-quality care that we provide. Care Assistants within Home Instead are known as CAREGivers and the care & support they deliver is designed to allow our clients to live independently & happily in their own homes.

We need friendly, reliable, kind & trustworthy individuals to join our team of LiveIn Care Assistant. Being a Live-in CAREGiver is different from our other care roles as you are required to live with the client for a set period, working throughout the day and occasional through the night. You will be required to work with the client for 7-14 days at a time followed by the same number of consecutive days off.

You do not need previous experience to become a LiveIn Caregiver however it can be helpful due to the nature of the role. We encourage people from different sectors to apply, whether that be: retail, hospitality, childcare, customer service, delivery driving etc. We provide full training and ongoing support from the start.

Being a Live-In CAREGiver involves:

  • ·  Living with your client for a set period
  • ·  Covering Glasgow and surrounding area’s – further travel may be required
  • ·  Personal introductions to new clients
  • ·  CAREGivers are matched to clients based on hobbies and interests
  • ·  Building strong professional relationships
  • ·  Companionship lead care service
  • ·  Personal care that includes a variety of non-medical services
  • ·  Shopping, general household tasks and preparing fresh food
