Community Care Assistant

At Assist & Care, we provide high-quality care for our clients, who want to continue happily living in their own homes for as long as possible.

We are currently recruiting Community Care Assistants to join our Didsbury based care team, covering the  South Manchester area.

Having access to your own car, bicycle or scooter is preferred  as travelling between homes is the main component of your role.

As a Community Care Assistant you will be responsible for the daily care of our clients, duties include:

• Personal Care, assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming and continents care
• Home Help, assisting with household duties.
• Companionship, building a relationship and keeping the client company

No experience is necessary as we provide full training to all staff, and ongoing support from the Manager and Team Leader is available at all times.

You must have a  natural passion for providing a high standard of care and maintaining dignity and respect.

The care we provide allows clients to stay in their own homes for as long as possible.

Essential criteria:

• You must live in the South Manchester area
• You must be able to work  some evenings and weekends
• You must have access to your own vehicle
