Job description
Specific Job Role
This is a great opportunity to work with a lovely young gentleman, who has suffered a spinal cord injury and is partially paralysed. The client lives independently in a lovely house in Bricket Wood with the support of a live-in carer. The client has additional carers who attend for moving and handling and any tasks which require two. The carer will also need to drive the client to and from various appointments.
Shift Pattern
With this client, you'll be engaged in a 2-week live-in assignment, succeeded by a 2-week rest period. Following 1-week rest, you have the option to work with another client for 1 week. Alternatively, if eligible, you can be a part of our Standby rota, working conveniently from home. To support your journey, we provide comprehensive training, equipping you to excel in your caregiving role.
While living in with the client you will work set average hours during the day with a protected break. Overnight you will sleep in your own room.
