About this job
Christine Marie Care are currently looking to recruit a
Healthcare Assistants to provide support for service users in their
own homes. As a Healthcare Assistant with Christine Marie Care you
will be helping with personal care and support to older adults,
individuals with learning disabilities, mental health illness and
physical disabilities. You will be promoting independence and
supporting them to live a life that is wonderful and fulfilling
Healthcare Assistant Role Requirements:
PEG Feeding Experience
Experience of using a hoist
Epilepsy Awareness, Seizure Management and Emergency Medication
Flexibility. This is a shift-based role that can include working on
weekends, nights and bank holidays, so flexibility is essential.
A passion for delivering excellent customer service and a genuine
desire to help people
The ability to work well within a
team
The ability to work to robust, clear guidelines
The
ability to work well under pressure
Up to date DBS/Police
Clearance
Driving Licence is preferred but not essential
Healthcare Assistant Role Responsibilities:
If required supporting people with all aspects of personal care
where required but always promoting as much independence as
possible.
Personal care may include: washing/bathing, dressing,
continence care, using the toilet.
Administering
medication
Record keeping of all care given for that shift
Offering companionship and reassurance
Meal and drink
preparation
Working in a supportive manner with colleagues,
families and external parties, building trust by being open and
honest.
All our staff receive training tailored to the needs of
the people they support.
