About the role

As a carer/ support worker at Penuel Care Services, you will provide personal care to our service users, supporting them with bathing, eating, visiting the bathroom, and also getting around and enjoying their lovely community.  Your warm, supportive, and caring nature will help you build meaningful relationships with our services users and you will get to know everything about their likes and dislikes as well as their needs. Here’s some other important things you need to know:

  • You’ll follow electronic care plans for each service user and may need to prompt, assist or administer medication as prescribed, accurately maintaining appropriate records for both.
  • You must be alert at all times to our service users’ physical and mental well being
  • You will help maintain our high standards ensuring service users environments is always clean and safe (where this is part of the role)

  • All required training will be provided.
  • you will be required to register with the SSSC within 6 months of joining the company.
  • Desirable: SVQ3
  • You will be required to complete the care certificate as part of the recruitment process.
