Would you like a career where you get that warm feeling of knowing you're doing something that makes you feel proud?

We have part time and full time work opportunities if you are kind, caring and reliable! We'll provide training on everything else you need for this role.

We're a multi-award winning home care business and we're not interested in being an average care provider. We want to make our colleagues feel just as special as we like to make our customer feel. As a Care Assistant, you’ll make a difference to peoples’ lives every day. You’ll join a welcoming and friendly team and we’ll provide full training, so no experience is necessary.

**You'll need a full and valid driving licence, access to a car for work, the right to work in the UK and an excellent level of English.**

What we can offer you...

£13 per hour plus mileage allowance.

We pay you for every second you're at work so we pay your travel timeunlike many other social care employers who say they pay more per hour but this doesn't include paid travel time, so their hourly rate is much lower than they advertise!

In addition to the hourly rate, our Care Assistants receive:

  • Joining bonus of £250
  • Quick start process – providing you have the right to Work in the UK and an Adult First Check, begin working for us straight away.
  • Paid travel time between customers’ homes  (watch out because lots of other care providers don't pay this in addition to the hourly rate.)
  • Mileage allowance on top of your travel time pay
  • Paid training and shadowing
  • Bonus Scheme through our Care Friends App
  • A share of a £300 pot of cash for 100% attendance every 2 months
  • 28 days holiday pro rata
  • An extra day holiday so you have can take your birthday off.
  • Company Pension
  • Flexible working patterns
  • Funded career development plan
  • Free telephone counselling through our Employee Assistance Programme.
  • Access to our Wellbeing fund (£100 per year to spend on a treat just for you)
  • Smartphone and full uniform provided

We're looking for people who are:

  • Kind and Caring
  • Reliable
  • Patient
  • Passionate about providing excellent care and customer service
  • Excellent communicators
  • Currently living in Leeds  (we do not offer sponsorship from overseas)

We have a development programme that can help our Care Assistants progress their career with us or can provide valuable experience to support with applications for Nursing, Occupational Therapy and Social Work careers.

What does the role of Care Assistant involve?

You'll be providing person centred care & support to individuals living in their own homes. You'll be providing personal care such as support with washing and dressing, administering medication, supporting people to use mobility equipment where required, companionship, shopping, light housekeeping and promoting overall customer health and wellbeing.

Our shifts are either:

Early shifts 7:00 am - 2:30 pm or 7:00 - 4:00pm
