Dementia Support Worker

We're looking for passionate, dedicated, and flexible person to be part of a Dementia specialist team, supporting people living with dementia and their families.

We work with the Halesworth Dementia Carers Fund to support people living with dementia in Halesworth and surrounding areas.
Fully funded Level 2 Dementia Awareness Training or Level 3 NCFE CACHE Level 3 Award in Awareness of Dementia available.

Pay Rate: from £12.25 up to £12.75 per hour + £0.20 per mile.

Shift Pattern: 07am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm

Currently we are only accepting applicants that live in the Norfolk area.

What you will be doing:

• Access the community and a variety of Dementia activities
• Motivating Clients to get the most out of their day
• Shopping

What we need from you:

• Full driving license and access to own vehicle is essential for this position.
• Good communication skills both verbally and written
• Be a reliable team player with a positive attitude
• Genuine passion for helping others and wanting to make a positive difference.
• Respect people’s right to privacy
• Have a zero tolerance of all forms of abuse
