Care Assistant

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- No experience is necessary.
- An induction course will be provided.
- You will shadow experienced carers during shifts.

Responsibilities:

- Providing care to people in their own homes.
- Assisting with daily routines, such as personal care (e.g. bathing, showering, and helping with toilet breaks), food preparation, and prompt medication.
- Promoting independence as much as possible while ensuring safety.

The role of a home care assistant is diverse, and each day is different. Some clients require personal care, while others may just need someone to talk to over a cup of tea. You will see clients regularly, getting to know their needs and routines through our handy app, which displays care plans and visit details.

Working Hours:

- Shifts are available from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm and from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
- One weekend is required occasionally.
- Part-time positions are available.

Must be a driver

Pay:

The pay rate for drivers, including travel time and petrol, ranges from £12.00 to £13.00. Bank holidays will be paid at time and a half, and double pay will be provided for Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
